Eligibility

Anyone over the age of 18 who is currently enrolled in a college or university is welcome to attend! Prior programming experience is not required to participate.

To be eligible for prizes, a team can be at most four people. 

Requirements

Make your project, submit it to Devpost, and demo it during the project expo! You'll have to do all three to be eligible for projects.

Citi Bank Gig Economy Challenge

Citi Bank is offerring $1500 to the team that creates the hack that most benefits freelancers in the rising gig economy.

BU Spark! Challenge

BU Spark! is offering $250 to the team that creates the best application for one of the three following categories:

Nike Innovation Accelerator: Nike is looking for an advanced image filtering API that can connect to various other image recognition services and allow users to manually approve or delete images that don't make it past the filter.

Donii: Donii is a nonprofit that makes it easier for people to donate items to people in need. They are currently updating their desktop app and are looking for people to create a companion Android app.

Pill Identifier: Health Innovators is looking for an app that will be able to identify pills based on their image.

More specific details will be available at the event, and the winners of this prize will have the opportunity to continue working on their project after the hackathon.
